What is 253

Answer: I’ve read 253 books in 48 Months!

Why?

In Oct 2014, I went to see the movie, The Equalizer. Denzel Washington’s character was reading 100 books that everyone should read. I went home and Googled the list to determine if I had read any of the books.

The next day I was discussing the movie and the list of books with a friend. The friend made a bet with me, that I could not read 100 books in one year. To make it even more of a challenge, instead of reading the actual list mentioned in the movie, the books were from two categories: Business and Professional Development.

Never one for backing down, I accepted the challenge!

Additionally, I wanted to have a way to “confirm” that I was actually reading the books. As a result, I’ve recorded a video every week for 4 years, providing book reviews and analysis.

Below you will find the links to the playlist for each year’s book challenges starting with the most recently completed book challenge.
